Blackberry Weed Control – Wisemans Creek, NSW

TMAC Land Management was engaged by a private landholder in Wisemans Creek to undertake targeted blackberry control across established infestations on a rural property.

The objective was to suppress and control blackberry growth while minimising impacts on surrounding pasture and desirable vegetation. The works formed part of a broader property improvement program aimed at improving access, increasing usable land area, and preparing the site for future management activities. The project was completed under challenging seasonal conditions, requiring careful planning and herbicide selection to maximise effectiveness.

Blackberry infestations were located across difficult terrain and varying vegetation densities, requiring a targeted approach to ensure adequate coverage while protecting surrounding vegetation.

Achieving effective control in less-than-ideal conditions required experienced application techniques, appropriate product selection, and close attention to weather and site conditions throughout the works.

 TMAC Land Management utilised our 600-litre QuikSpray unit to undertake targeted spot spraying of blackberry infestations using selective herbicides.
