TMAC Land Management utilized commercial slashing equipment for Mayfield slashing to effectively reduce mature weed growth and stimulate fresh regrowth of the target species. 

By implementing slashing prior to treatment, the property owner was able to conduct targeted weed control through the wiping of fresh regrowth instead of broad-scale spraying of mature plants. This method allowed herbicide application to be concentrated specifically on undesirable species while minimizing impacts on surrounding pasture.
